My work developed in the context of the city of New York where I moved after finishing Fine Art at the University of the Basque Country in order to study Art and Education a Columbia University New York. My work as an artist is combined, joined, mixed with, and contaminated by, that of art and education in the museum context. During the 14th years I live in New York City I worked in different education departments: MOMA, Bronx Museum, Museo del Barrio - New York and Guggenheim NY.
Nine years ago I move back to Spain where I work as the Head of the Education Department at ARTIUM Basque Center for Contemporary Art. At this point I start working with animation movies, this seems logic, and the consecutive step after working for many years with drawing as the main part of my art work, and as a discipline to think and be aware of the act of thinking.
